HAZMAT and HAZWOPER courses at Western Iowa Tech will prepare you to work with, handle, and manage hazardous materials.

Western Iowa Tech (WIT) is not an OSHA Training Institute Education Center, but serves as a Host Training Organization (HTO) for the Great Plains OSHA Education Center at Metropolitan Community College in Kansas City, MO.

The Outreach Training Program is a voluntary program. Its purpose is to promote workplace safety and health and to make workers more knowledgeable about workplace hazards and their rights. 

Our Rope Rescue course will provide members of your team with the necessary skills to respond to an emergency that requires rescue. The scope of this course is to familiarize participants with the high and low angle environment and provide them with introductory experience.
